Who we are
Jürgen Wissenbach has been creating, producing and distributing modern, contemporary and designer rugs since 1947
We operate at every production level, from mechanical, tufted, woven to hand-knotted rugs, always offering innovative collections. Our company has offices in India, China and Nepal where all our productions undergo an accurate quality control. Jürgen Wissenbach produces custom rugs and carpets of any format, size, design and quality.
With the collaboration of internationally renowned designers, we present new and exclusive collections every year. And our team works continously searching for stylistic trends and materials. Our carpets are produced using bamboo silk, hemp, jute, nettle fiber, linen, cashmere wool.
Our sales network is present in all European countries and in many countries around the world. We provide our customers with various display systems based on the type of carpets selected and the available surface.
For interior design studios and general contractors, we offer particular and refined samples, suitable for special and exclusive creations. Also we have a division specialized in the development of projects, for private residences, hotels and retail shops that operates all over the world.
We are also present in major editorial publications in the furniture and textile sector and furniture fairs such as the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan. Among our collaborations, we are proud to mention names such as Krizia, Fendi, Dior, Bulgari, Zegna, Geox.

Care&Fair
Not just words, but facts
The tradition of carpet making entails a sense of social responsibility. Child labour is often in the background of handmade products which come from under-developed countries. Keeping a distance from this kind of exploitation is not enough. Wissenbach, in collaboration with the association ‘Care & Fair’ actively supports a project to abolish children from carpet looms and improve living conditions for their families. As a committed carpet importer we dedicate a percentage of the purchase value of the carpets we import to the foundation of free nurseries, schools and hospitals. A financial contribution goes to the parents to make up for the salary loss and child education to qualify for a better future.
